Last time (2004) President Pohamba got 625 605. This time he got 611 241 - so slightly down. Last time Swapo got 620 609 and this time 602 580.
Total valid votes in presidential vote this time: 799 870. In 2004: 818 395
President Pohamba is 8 661 votes more popular than Swapo.
Total votes in the presidential: 812 233. Total votes in National Assembly: 811 143. Just over a thousand votes difference. It seems some people only partake in the presidential and then either walk out or spoil their ballot in the NA election?
